We Energies has implemented advanced IHS software that supports compliance with CAIR, which imposes limits on NOx and SO2 emissions, and requires organizations to purchase and manage allowances under the EPA Acid Rain Program (ARP). The system manages emissions at 10 generating facilities and more than 40 units, enabling managers and executives to quickly and easily track and manage seasonal and annual emissions, compliance status and allowance market transactions.
