Port of Entry has been providing information and marketing services to the environmental sector in the Americas since 2001. It serves the needs of the environmental industry in the following dimensions:

Port of Entry brings together the various actors in the environmental scene in the Americas. The four segments involved are:

- Environment-related government and non governments organizations, private and international organizations
- Environmental scientists and educators

Alejandra Rojo (Ph. D. in Education, University of Toronto)
Alejandra specializes in the use and adoption of electronic communication and hypermedia (especially in professional
communities), and she designs and evaluates distributed multimedia. She conducts audience needs analyses, information mapping and designs and implements solutions for communication, knowledge management and training. She has published in specialized journals on the issue of online professional communities and distributed multimedia. A clinical psychologist in her native Chile and Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Chile, Alejandra developed her new professional interests and earned her Ph.D. when she came to live in Canada.
