Fundamentals of Bioprocess Engineering

DESCRIPTION
This course covers the fundamentals that comprise the rapidly growing field of bioprocess engineering, including the basics of cell growth, bioreactor design, bioprocess control, separation processes and process scale-up. The objective is to acquaint the engineer with the critical issues in bioprocess design and operation.

OBJECTIVE
To familiarize participants with the microbial systems and their applications for design and operation in industry.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Practising process engineers and other persons involved in research and development, evaluation, design and scale-up of processes based on microbial systems, including the food and beverage industry, biopharmaceuticals, speciality chemicals and bioremediation of wastes.
