DESCRIPTION
Water recovery and re-use is economical and environmentally positive for industries that require the knowledge of wastewater treatment, its recovery and re-use issues. The purpose of this seminar is to provide the user with a thorough understanding of the principles and practices of wastewater characterization and treatment, using both conventional and advanced treatment technologies, including filtration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, carbon adsorption, oxidization and thermal treatment processes. As more industries utilize water re-use and zero discharge concepts in practice, water recovery and re-use technologies issues will be discussed.
OBJECTIVES
To provide a sound working knowledge of conventional and advanced treatment processes including filtration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, carbon adsorption, oxidization and thermal treatment processes.
Facility/utility engineers, consulting engineers, plant managers, chemical technologists and technicians, plant operating personnel, those responsible for capital equipment procurement, or anyone involved in the wastewater treatment industry requiring state-of-the-art knowledge of wastewater chemistry, treatment approaches and re-use applications.
