DESCRIPTION
Emissions trading involves the cooperation from all levels of government and industry. This seminar will show the positive and negative impacts of emissions trading and the impacts of current federal and provincial legislation. It will focus on who is eligible to acquire and trade emissions credits and how a company may accumulate purchasing permits. The focus of the seminar is on how the effects of emissions are effecting public and private sector operations. The impacts of greenhouse gas limits and how this affects the national and international markets will be explored from different aspects.
OBJECTIVES
To enhance awareness of buyers and sellers of emissions credits, about the numerous opportunities available in today’s markets.
