Seemingly disparate at first glance, Latin America and Asia are two rapidly growing regions that are increasingly recognising the potential of their synergies.
Growing demands in Asia are driving exports of Latin American commodities and energy-based products, while Asian exports of consumer electronics; electrical machinery and telecommunication products to Latin America have increased substantially.
This flow of trade and investment, together with a strengthening of bilateral political relations, underscore the enormous potential for more meaningful relationship between Asia and Latin America.
The Latin Asia Business Forum is International Enterprise (IE) Singapore’s annual forum to foster multilateral trade ties and the promotion of trade and investments between Latin America and Asia.
