    1. Provide a high level international forum to discuss the very latest thoughts, developments and innovations in renewable energy research and applications from across Europe, and the world.
    2. Deliver an enlightened, intellectually challenging and stimulating technical programme in the diverse fields of renewable energy that is relevant to academic scholars, researchers, members of the business community, and to society at large.
    3. Attract inspirational keynote speakers who are leaders in their own right in key aspects of renewable energy and the environment.
    4. Foster innovation, diffusion and efficient application of renewable energy technologies.
    5. Foster the creation of viable research networks in renewable energy and the environment.
    6. Assist and promote exploration of the environmental benefits of renewable energy and their dissemination.
    7. Encourage improved education as a means of involving young people in the many facets of renewable energy.
    8. Promote business opportunities for renewable energy projects and their successful implementation.
    9. Running concurrently with All-Energy Opportunities, offer congress delegates and the business community a renewable energy exhibition to showcase the latest products and services.
    10. Strengthen and expand the effectiveness of the World Renewable Energy Network (WREN).
    11. Further the interests of the University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen City, and local industry in renewable energy and the environment.
