Carbon TradeEx America 2009: Speakers list featuring leading experts in Carbon Finance and Climate Policy

02  March  2009

Chicago/London/Cologne, February, 2009

Carbon TradeEx America, a unique forum bringing together top players from the global carbon finance community, today released the names of some of the speakers who will feature prominently in this path breaking event on April 7-8, 2009 at the Washington, DC Convention Center.

The list reads like the ”Who’s Who” of the carbon market and can be viewed at http://tinyurl.com/CTA09Conference.

In addition to plenary sessions and keynotes from some of the leading policymakers in the U.S., the conference will feature sessions with senior market makers and experts under the headings of Policy Forum, Market Insights and Emerging Opportunities. The Conference Program will bring major players from the Executive Branch and the 111th Congress together with key principals in finance, business and environmental nongovernmental organizations to explore the interplay between climate, energy and economic policies at both the domestic and international levels.

Additional “Side Events” will examine a range of other timely themes and issues at the forefront of carbon finance and climate policy. The accompanying exhibition will provide an excellent platform for networking and sponsor presentations. The current sponsor list can be viewed at www.carbontradeexamerica.com. A few sponsorship and speaker opportunities are still available.
