| Green Investor Summit to Provide Impetus to Clean Energy and Technology Investments in India

New Ventures India(NVI), a joint initiative of CII-Godrej Green Business Centre and World Resources Institute is organizing its 2nd ‘Green Investor Summit’ on 9th April 2008, at Hotel Uppal’s Orchid, New Delhi.
The Summit will have a round table discussion on “Accelerating Clean Technology and Clean Energy Investments in India” thereby facilitating cleantech investments and assessing various challenges and opportunities associated with this sector in India. The Summit is a platform where NVI intends to bring together Cleantech Investors and the Cleantech SMEs to network with each other and look into possibilities of investment.
This round table discussion will deliberate on various issues like how to create a climate to promote clean tech and clean energy investments and make India a hub for clean technologies. The summit will also assess the current scenario, an action plan to accelerate cleantech innovation and investments in India.
Mr Nicholas Parker, Chairman and Managing Partner, Cleantech Group LLC will be the Moderator for the round table discussion. Discussions will find out how to change the mindset of investors and facilitate various policy interventions to accelerate cleantech investment in India.
